“Be Thou Strong and Very Courageous”

In Joshua 1:7 says: “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest”.

The Lord spoke to Joshua and told him to be courageous and to trust in whatever Moses would tell him to do. Today we have living prophets that guide us according to the commandments of the Lord. They are inspired by God and we have the opportunity to receive new instructions every six month during General conference.

Reading the passage in Joshua 1:7, I thought about the blessings of having Prophets and being able to follow God through their words. We are all humans and have weaknesses. The same happens to the Servants of the Lord, but they are called by God and have the power and authority to guide us here on Earth. We need to see with our spiritual eyes and understand their words.We are not alone. I know that we are sons and daughters of God and that He talks to us through His prophets today.
