This week I experimented with adwords for my website. It was interesting that using their keyword planner it shows some estimates for daily impressions and clicks. However, after starting the Adword campaign the values shown are from the total of the month. To be able to cleanup the keyword I used the keyword planner and started campaigns in combination to eliminate keyword combos that had zero daily impressions using csv exports and imports. Many keyword combos had zero impressions. The cost for keyword also appeared on average to be the same, while some had more impressions per month. Most of the clicks were on average between $1 and $2 per click. It made one wonder that ana.lycs are probably utilized to be able to track which keyword combos may actually attract paying customers and not just accidental clicks or non buying customers. There was one combo that even though it had zero daily impressions I kept because it was basically the theme of the website.
