Facing the Challenges of Payment Portals

The most exciting part of building an online business is to have the opportunity to create and design the website. Also it can be fun when we get our first payment from a customer. This week I had the opportunity to start creating my own website for my online business and realized that there was more than just designing the page. There is a lot involved with a business model, the process that customers follow to make a payment, legalities for different payments supported, and preventive measures for fraudulent purchases. There seem to be less issues with subscriptions having fraudulent purchases than physical goods because returns don’t need to be handled. Since my model is likely to use a subscription some payment portals will work, while others would not. Paypal supports subscription however, venmo currently doesn’t. I’m still debating  on which payment portal I would like to use, but I believe that I would likely use paypal because they support easy subscriptions.
